Every year, Mijas village runs its annual Tapa route every Tuesday and Thursday in July and August. The idea is that local bars and restaurants will offer a wide selection of different tapas, the price for a beer and a tapa will only be €2,50.
Numerous bars and restaurants participate every year in Mijas Tapa route, offering tapas between 19:30 and 23:30.
