Wally’s Café is among the oldest family owned and operated jazz clubs in existence. Founded in 1947 by Mr. Joseph L. Walcott, the club features live music 365 days a year. Wally’s is fortunate to be surrounded by some of the nations most acclaimed institutions for educating musicians. The bands featured nightly at the club are made up of musicians from these institutions, practicing and perfecting their craft. Many of these young aspiring musicians are considered by some to be among the most talented in the nation. There is no cover charge at Wally’s. The age limit is 21 and over. No Exceptions. The Nightclub is located at the intersection of Massachusetts and Columbus Avenues in Boston’s South End. The nightclub is three blocks south of Boston Symphony Hall on the same side of Massachusetts Avenue.
