Plimoth Plantation is located in the picturesque coastal town of Plymouth, Massachusetts. The story of the Pilgrims and Native people is interpreted by re-enactors and museum staff, enabling the visitor to experience life in the 17th-century by stepping into the re-created Pilgrim Village. The people you will meet are costumed role players who have taken on the names, viewpoints and life histories of the people who actually lived in the colony in 1627, popularly known as the “Pilgrims” today.
