The Brenda Taylor Gallery has been exhibiting the work of domestic and international artists since 1991. The gallery’s first location was on Newbury Street in Boston, and since then moved to Soho in 1994 and Chelsea in 1997. Focusing on large scale works by both emerging and established artists, the gallery schedules exhibitions year round while remaining an active participant in art fairs worldwide. Brenda’s exhibitions have been reviewed by publications such as Art Forum, Art in America, and Vogue Magazine. Brenda Taylor also offers complete art advisory services for either the individual or corporate art collector. She also runs her own consultancy service providing artists with guidance, resume and career building services including gallery placement, appraisals, and individualized support.

Brenda Taylor’s interest in the arts was sparked by attending small scale antique auctions with her great aunt and uncle as a child. Since then her passion for art has grown exponentially. Brenda has spoken as a guest lecturer at many academic institutions including Brown University, University of Massachusetts, and San Jose State University. Currently working on a book titled Approaching the Art World, Brenda hopes to correct the plethora of misinformation so often passed on to artists by various authors and share her experience and knowledge of the business.
