The street market in Las Lagunas offers locals the chance to buy fruit, vegetables, spices, flowers, shoes, clothes, cosmetics, and traditional products from the Mijas area. A market is a weekly event, taking place each Friday from 9:00 – 14:00.
El Juncal market opened with 25 stalls, although there were over 160 applications for the stalls. This is one of many markets throughout the Mijas area, with outdoor street markets taking place in La Cala de Mijas, Calahonda, and the flea market every Sunday in the Mijas Hipodromo.
