Beacon Hill Boston Attractions Guide Map

Beacon Hill is a prosperous historic neighborhood, mostly residential. It is home to the Commonwealth’s Government and the State Housewhich overlooks the Boston Common. You can take a tour of the State House which contains a good collection of statues, artwork, and historic flags. Expect to find many historic 19th century townhouses designed by the famous Charles Bulfinch. Head down Charles Street and you will find many antique shops, small food stores and wonderful Beacon Hill Restaurants. The cobble-stoned Acorn Street is the most photographed street in America, while Louisburg Square is considered to be Boston’s most prestigious address, home to the wealty and influential.
