La Boveda
La Boveda is a bar with an artistic atmosphere and socialising spirit. There is no settled menu, ask the barman for what food is available on the day.
With most tables outside and only 4 small tables available inside, this bar fills up fast and with good reason. Good coffee, good food and warm welcome.
Peña Barcelonista
Barcelona supporters bar offers, apart from the best football atmosphere in town, a large food menu. Additionally they serve take away pizza and kebabs. Inside the bar and walls are covered with Barcelona memorabilia and there are two large screens to watch the games.
Outside, there is also a separate terrace, surprisingly different in atmosphere from the main bar. The terrace is covered with plants hanging down from the ceiling and walls which creates a unique romantic character.
Cafe Porras
Centrally situated beside the museum and church, Cafe Porras is a great place to watch the world pass-by. The cafe is nearly always busy and offer a full menu although their speciality is seafood.
The staff are very friendly and helpful, tapas are also available and football games are shown.
Bar La Gambas
Very friendly bar with excellent food and prices. Specialities include local wild rabbit and paella. Interior design – antique looking paintings and ornaments give this place a classic but not overly pompous character. Additional seating is available upstairs in the terrace with a vine ceiling.
Oscar Tapas Bar
Serving a good selection of tapas along with a warm friendly welcome, Oscars is very popular even if it is a little hard to find. There is also a kids play area inside which makes it perfect for families. Try the popular chorizo in red wine or paella.
