Fuengirola shopping

Fuengirola has many shopping opportunities with indoor markets, street markets, large shopping centers and boutique shops catering for every possible need. Like many Andalucian towns, there are local bakeries, fruit shops, butchers and fish mongers scattered around the town, fresh produce being the main characteristic of the local diet.

Additional to the many Spanish living in the town, there is a diversity of nationalities represented, giving Fuengirola some diverse shops including Moroccan clothes and handicraft shops, Indian spice stores, Scandinavian furniture, South American arts shops and many other small unique shops, bars and restaurants found by wandering the streets of the town.

Miramar Shopping Center

Parque Miramar Shopping Centre was opened in 2004 and is one of the largest shopping centers on the Costa del Sol. The location makes it perfect access for many areas on the coast as well as being close to the beach. It is located on the other side of the main motorway that runs around Fuengirola, making its address in Mijas Costa. Regular buses run from the town center to Miramar, the journey takes 5 mins, or its a 25 min walk. There are large car parks under the center and outside, parking is free and there is enough space for 2,700 cars.

Miramar also has a 12 screen cinema (Cinesur) which shows original language movies, usually the biggest movies out can be seen in English. There are many food outlets upstairs close to the cinema. Shopping focuses mainly on clothes but there are also furniture shops, opticians, hairdressers, cosmetics, and much more. Here is a complete list of all the stores in Parque Miramar:
