The Museum’s current exhibit, Tibetan Portrait: The Power of Compassion, features 17 portraits by renowned contemporary photographer, Phil Borges. The portraits tell the stories of Tibetan nomads, children, monks, and the Dalai Lama. There are audio recordings of mantra chanting, and “please touch” objects such as a bell and dorjee, yak wool, and Tibetan butter churn.
